Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/4 c
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 1/2 c
- flour enough to make a stiff dough - 1 item
How to make egg noodles:
Put 3 cups water and 3/4 teaspoon salt on stove to boil while mixing noodles.To Make Noodles: Mix egg and 1/4 cup water and salt and flour. Roll out thin. Cut in narrow strips, 4-inches long. Fry onion in a little shortening while cooking noodles. Cook noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then add onions; cook a minute or two longer.
