Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/3 tsp
- milk, scalded - 2 c
- to 4 eggs - 3 item
How to make egg custard pie:
Mix eggs, sugar and salt together. Beat until foamy. Add milk and vanilla. Beat well. Bake pie crust 5 minutes at 450° before adding filling. Add filling and bake 5 minutes at 450°. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 20 to 25 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pies and tarts, < 60 mins.
