  • sugar
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • chopped pecans
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 4 c
  • soda - 3/4 tsp
  • cocoa - 1/2 c
  • egg - 1 item
  • shortening
  • walnut extract - 1/2 tsp
  • sour milk add 1 Tbsp - 3/4 c

How to make chocolate drop cookies:

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg, salt and cocoa. Dissolve soda in sour milk. Add nuts and flavors. Add flour last. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake in oven at 350° for about 12 minutes. Do not bake too long.
