Egg casserole
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- Velveeta cheese - 1/2 lb
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- slices bread - 4 item
- minced onion - 2 tsp
- cornflake crumbs - 1 item
- small amount of butter - 1 item
How to make egg casserole:
Butter bread slices and cut into cubes. Put into a buttered casserole (use 9 x 9-inch pan). Sprinkle with dry mustard, salt and onion.Slice Velveeta and lay it on top of the bread. Beat eggs, add milk and pour over cheese and bread mixture. Refrigerate overnight.
Before baking, melt butter and add cornflake crumbs. Mix and sprinkle over top of mixture. Bake at 350° for about 1 hour. Do not cover.
