- water - 3 c
- chopped onion - 1 c
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- bag frozen hash brown potatoes - 1 (32
- can cream of chicken soup, undiluted - 1 item
- can cream of celery soup, undiluted - 1 item
How to make easy potato soup:
Combine frozen hash browns, onion, broth and water in a Dutch oven. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer about 30 minutes. Stir in cream of celery and cream of chicken soups and milk. Add salt and pepper to taste. Heat thoroughly. Makes about 2 quarts.Hint: Taste soup before adding salt. The canned soups and broth may have made it salty enough.
