  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 2 c
  • all-purpose flour - 1/4 c
  • butter or oleo - 1/2 c
  • shredded sharp Cheddar cheese - 2 c

How to make easy macaroni and cheese:

In a saucepan, over medium-high heat, melt 1/4 cup spread (butter or oleo). Blend in flour. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly until mixture begins to boil and thickens. Cook and stir 1 minute. Stir in cheese until melted. Combine cheese sauce and macaroni in a 2-quart casserole. Melt remaining butter; stir in cracker crumbs. Sprinkle over casserole. Bake at 400° for 20 to 30 minutes or until hot.
