Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans
- pkg - 1 oz
- shredded coconut
- powdered sugar - 4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- box German chocolate cake, prepared according to instructions - 1 item
How to make earthquake cake:
Preheat oven to 350°.Grease and flour a 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine pecan and coconut; sprinkle in bottom of pan. Pour prepared cake mix over pecans and coconut. Melt margarine and cream cheese together in a sauce pan. Add sugar. Mix well and pour mixture over cake mixture. Bake 45 minutes and check to see if cake is done. If not, continue until toothpick comes out clean. Remove from oven and cool in pan. Cut into squares.
