Peanut butter oatmeal cookies

Ingredients/Components

• butter flavor Crisco - 3/4 c
• peanut butter - 1 c
• brown sugar
• egg - 1 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• oats - 3 c
• all-purpose flour
• baking soda - 1/2 tsp

How to make peanut butter oatmeal cookies:

Beat first 3 ingredients until creamy. Beat in water, egg and vanilla. Add combined dry ingredients. Mix well. Cover; chill about 2 hours. Heat oven to 350°. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet; flatten with tines of fork dipped in granulated sugar to form crisscross pattern. Bake 9 to 11 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet. Remove to wire rack. Cool completely.
