Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • self-rising flour - 2 Tbsp
  • light corn syrup - 1 c
  • pecans - 1 c
  • butter, melted - 3 Tbsp
  • sweet milk - 1/2 c

How to make pecan pie:

Mix together eggs, sugar, flour and salt; beat well. Add syrup, milk, butter and vanilla. Pour pecans in unbaked 9-inch pie shell. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes or until top cracks open and is golden brown.

Note: Enough for 2 shallow pies or 1 deep pie shell.
