  • pkg - 1 oz
  • coconut - 1 c
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • powdered sugar - 1 lb
  • pecan pieces - 1 c
  • box German or Swiss cake mix - 1 item

How to make earthquake cake:

Mix cake mix as directed. Spray 9 x 13-inch pan with Pam. Spread coconut in bottom of pan. Sprinkle pecan pieces over coconut. Pour cake batter over this. Mix powdered sugar, butter and cream cheese together and plop tablespoon of mixture on cake batter. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or 1 hour and 10 minutes. Place foil under cake as it may boil over.
