Ingredients/Components
- chopped pecans - 1 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- coconut - 1 c
- stick butter - 1 item
- powdered sugar
- box German chocolate cake mix - 1 item
How to make earthquake cake:
Mix coconut and pecans and press into a greased and floured 9 x 12-inch pan. Prepare cake mix as directed. Pour over coconut and pecan mixture. Melt butter and cream cheese. Add powdered sugar. Mix well and drop by tablespoons on top of cake batter. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes to 1 hour or when cracks form in center of cake. Do not overcook.
