Dutch apple pie
Ingredients/Components
- graham cracker crumbs
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- chopped pecans - 1/4 c
- packed brown sugar - 1/4 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 c
- raisins - 1/4 c
- melted butter or margarine - 1/4 c
- can applesauce - 1 oz
- bag Success rice - 1 item
How to make dutch apple pie:
Crumb Mixture:1 1/2 c. graham cracker crumbs1/4 c. packed brown sugar1/4 c. chopped pecans1/4 c. melted butter or margarine1/4 tsp. cinnamon Prepare rice according to package directions. Drain and combine with the other ingredients. In a separate bowl, combine the ingredients for the crumb mixture. In a buttered 8-inch square dish, sprinkle 1/2 of crumb mixture. Pour in all of the rice mixture. Sprinkle with remaining crumbs. Bake at 425° for 15 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream if desired. Serves 9.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
