Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- or less milk - 3/4 c
How to make dumplings:
Sift flour to measure. Add baking powder and salt; sift again. Stir in milk. Dough must be stiff enough to handle easily. Roll dough on board; cut into small biscuits. Lay in single layer. Cover and boil for 20 minutes without raising lid.Recipe categories: Pasta, Main dish, Pasta, rice and grains.
