  • sugar - 2 c
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • water - 1/2 c
  • egg whites, beaten stiff - 2 item
  • white Karo - 1/2 c
  • nuts if desired - 1/2 c

How to make divinity fudge:

Boil sugar, Karo and water until it forms a hard ball when dropped in cold water. Beat slowly into well beaten egg whites (beat with mixer). Add nuts and vanilla. When it begins to thicken, drop by the spoonful on heavy waxed paper. Pack in airtight bowl.
