Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 c
- water - 3 qt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- red pepper - 1 item
- dill seed - 1/4 tsp
- garlic - 1 item
- powdered alum - 1/8 tsp
- to 15 medium small cucumbers, iced overnight - 10 item
How to make dill pickles:
Sterilize quart jars. Fill jars with seasonings and cucumbers. Add boiling liquid. Seal jars. Cold pack in canner for 20 minutes.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
