Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 c
- water - 3 qt
- vinegar - 1 qt
- dill seed - 1 pkg
- garlic - 1 pkg
- cucumbers - 1 gal
How to make dill pickles:
Pack cucumbers in glass jar, putting 3 or 4 pieces of garlic in each jar. Use 1 teaspoon of dill seed to 1 quart of pickles. If using pint jars, use only 1/2 teaspoon of dill seed per pint. Boil water, vinegar and salt, making sure that the ingredients are dissolved. Pour over cucumbers and seal.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Appetizers, Condiments, etc..
