Ingredients/Components
- lemon juice - 1 tsp
- can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
- mayonnaise - 1/2 c
- onion, diced - 2 Tbsp
- celery, diced - 3/4 c
- cooked rice - 1 c
- almonds, slivered - 1/4 c
- to 3 hard-boiled eggs, cut up - 2 item
- cooked chicken, chunked - 2 c
How to make deviled chicken:
Boil the chicken with seasoning, using celery tops and parsley if you have some on hand. Strain broth and use in preparing the cooked rice. It adds flavor to your dish rather than using water. Mix all ingredients and place in buttered casserole or pan. Cover entire top with crushed potato chips. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake in 375° oven for approximately 30 minutes.
