Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 8 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 6 Tbsp
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- medium potatoes - 8 item
- dash of black pepper - 1 item
- grated sharp Cheddar - 1 c
- light cream or half and half
How to make delmonico potatoes:
Preheat oven to 400°. Wash, peel and dice potatoes. Boil in lightly salted water until just done, but not mushy. Drain potatoes and place in 2-quart greased casserole dish. In medium saucepan, melt 6 tablespoons butter and blend in flour. GradualRecipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
