Delmonico potatoes
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 item
- bread crumbs - 1/2 c
- Salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- grated cheddar cheese
- medium potatoes, cooked, peeled and cubed - 10 item
- cans mushroom or celery soup - 2 item
- cups milk or evaporated milk - 2 item
- onion, chopped, saut?Šed - 1 item
- crisp real bacon bits - 1/2 c
How to make delmonico potatoes:
Place potatoes in casserole dish. Mix soup and milk until smooth. Add salt, pepper, onion and 1 c. cheese. Add to potatoes. On top, place remaining cheese, bacon bits and bread crumbs. Dot with butter. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
