Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- fresh lemon juice - 3/4 c
- grated lemon peel - 2 Tbsp
- 8 c - 2 qt
- salt - 1/4 tsp
How to make lemon ice cream:
Combine sugar, lemon juice and peel in large freezer container. Slowly stir in cream and salt, blending well. Cover and freeze until firm outside but still soft in center. Stir several times. Freeze until firm.For lime ice cream, substitute fresh lime juice and lime peel for lemon.
