Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 2 c
- brown sugar - 3 c
- chopped dates - 1 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- nuts - 1 c
- hot water
- cube oleo - 1/4 item
How to make date pudding:
List 2:1/2 c. brown sugar1 c. milk1 c. nuts2 c. flour1 c. chopped dates4 tsp. baking powder Mix List 1 in pan and bring to full boil. Remove from heat. Blend List 2 together. Put hot sauce in 9 x 13-inch pan. Drop dough by tablespoons into sauce. Bake at 350° until brown, approximately 30 minutes. About 5 minutes before done, break up pudding and spoon some of the sauce over top (keeps it more moist). We serve with Cool Whip or ice cream on top.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Nuts.
