Dairy queen ice cream
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- cold water - 1/2 c
- whipping cream - 3 c
- whole milk - 4 c
- envelopes Knox gelatine - 2 item
How to make dairy queen ice cream:
Soak the Knox gelatine in the cold water. Heat the whole milk until hot, but not boiling. Remove from heat. Add the gelatine, vanilla, sugar and salt. Cool. Add the whipping cream. Put in refrigerator to chill for 5 or 6 hours before freezing. Makes 1 gallon.Optional: Crush 6 Heath candy bars and add to mixture before freezing.
