Strawberry jello salad

Ingredients/Components

• chopped pecans - 1/2 c
• pkg - 3 oz
• boiling water - 1 c
• can crushed pineapple undrained - 1 1/4
• carton sour cream, divided - 1 oz

How to make strawberry jello salad:

Dissolve Jell-O gelatin in boiling water. Stir in fruit; pour halve of gelatin in large Pyrex dish. Refrigerate until firm. Spread congealed gelatin in 1 cup sour cream. Spoon remaining gelatin over sour cream and refrigerate until firm. Top with remaining sour cream, spreading evenly. Sprinkle with pecans.
