Oatmeal macaroons
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- coconut - 1/2 c
- baking soda - 3/4 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- egg, unbeaten - 1 item
- sifted flour - 1 c
- quick oats - 1 c
- dark molasses - 1 Tbsp
How to make oatmeal macaroons:
Combine the first seven ingredients and beat well. Sift flour with soda. Add to first mixture. Add oats and coconut. Drop on baking sheet by teaspoonful or tablespoonful.
