Curried chicken balls
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- curry powder - 2 tsp
- minced celery - 3 Tbsp
- white pepper - 1/4 tsp
- orange marmalade - 2 Tbsp
- finely chopped cooked chicken - 3 c
- minced green onions - 3 Tbsp
- finely chopped Macadamia nuts or almonds, toasted - 1 c
How to make curried chicken balls:
Combine first 5 ingredients in a mixing bowl; beat at medium speed of an electric mixer until smooth. Stir in chicken, green onions and celery. Shape into 1-inch balls and roll in nuts. Chill up to 2 days or freeze up to 1 month. Yield: 3 1/2 dozen.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Chicken, Poultry.
