Crustless bacon quiche
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- milk
- butter, melted - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- shredded Cheddar cheese - 1 c
- buttermilk baking mix - 1/2 c
- strips bacon, diced - 8 item
How to make crustless bacon quiche:
Fry bacon in 10-inch skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon; drain on paper towel. Combine eggs, milk, baking mix, melted butter and pepper in blender or mixer and blend well. Pour mixture into greased 9-inch glass pie plate. Sprinkle with bacon and cheese. Press bacon and cheese below the surface, using back of spoon. Bake in 350° oven 30 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serves 6.Recipe categories: Eggs/dairy, Egg, Breakfast.
