- sugar - 2 c
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- shortening - 1 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- lemon flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make crunchy pound cake:
Mix shortening and sugar thoroughly; add eggs, alternating with flour. Add flavorings. Bake in a tube pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Weeknight.
