Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• eggs - 6 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• shortening - 1 c
• plain flour - 2 c
• lemon flavoring - 1 tsp

How to make crunchy pound cake:

Mix shortening and sugar thoroughly; add eggs, alternating with flour. Add flavorings. Bake in a tube pan for 45 to 50 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and let cool 10 minutes before removing from pan.
