Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- plain flour, sifted divided, 1/2 c - 3 c
How to make crunchy pound cake:
Cream together butter, shortening, cream cheese and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flavoring and 2 1/2 cups flour, a little at a time, mixing well. Mix remaining flour with butterscotch morsels and nuts. Fold into batter.Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 25 minutes. Cool in pan for 15 minutes. Remove from pan to cool completely.
