Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 3/4 c
- salt - 3/4 tsp
- flour
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- Egg Beaters - 2 well
How to make crumb cake:
Sift flour and dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening until crumbly. Reserve 1/2 cup crumb mixture for top. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Stir until well mixed. Pour batter into greased and floured pans and sprinkle crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.Recipe categories: Egg, Breads, Coffee cakes.
