Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- water - 1/2 c
- oil - 3/4 c
- baking powder
- margarine - 1/4 c
- coconut extract - 1 tsp
- small can flaked coconut - 1 item
- Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk
How to make coconut cake:
Beat together eggs, sugar and oil. Add flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Add vanilla extract and coconut. Bake at 350° for 50 minutes in Bundt pan. Remove cake from oven and make fork holes all over top of cake.Sauce:1 c. sugar1/2 c. water1/4 c. margarine1 tsp. coconut extract For sauce, heat sugar in water until sugar is dissolved. Add margarine and extract. Stir until margarine melts. Pour sauce over hot cake and let stand 1 hour before removing from pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Egg.
