  • envelope Lipton onion or mushroom soup mix - 1 item
  • melted margarine - 1/4 c
  • quartered potatoes - 2 lb
  • thyme leaves - 1 tsp
  • marjoram - 1 tsp
  • olive or vegetable oil - 1/2 c
  • pepper - 1/4 tsp

How to make crisp onion-roasted potatoes:

Preheat oven at 450°. In a shallow baking pan, thoroughly blend all ingredients, except potatoes. Add potatoes and turn to saturate. Bake 60 minutes or until potatoes are tender and golden brown. Stir occasionally. Garnish, if desired, with chopped parsley. Makes 8 servings.
