Creamy rice pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 qt
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- uncooked rice - 1/2 c
- raisins if desired - 1 item
How to make creamy rice pudding:
Place rice and milk in heavy saucepan. Bring to a slight boil. Cover over low heat. After 1 hour, add sugar and vanilla. Raisins may be added, if desired, last 15 minutes of cooking. Stir often; cook until thick. Careful, may scorch easily!Recipe categories: Desserts, Puddings and mousses, Egg.
