Creamy hash brown casserole
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 2 c
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- crushed cornflakes - 2 c
- onion, chopped - 3 Tbsp
- can cream of chicken soup undiluted - 1 item
- frozen hash browns, thawed
- American or Colby cheese, cubed - 1 lb
- savory optional - 1 item
How to make creamy hash brown casserole:
In a large bowl, combine hash browns with cheese, soup, sour cream and onion. Spread in 9 x 13 baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam. Combine crushed cornflakes with melted margarine. Spread on top. Sprinkle with savory and paprika. Bake uncovered in 350° oven for 50 to 60 minutes or until bubbly.Recipe categories: Side dish, Potato, Vegetables.
