Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1 c
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- dash of ground cloves - 1 item
- fresh parsley, chopped - 1/4 c
- boiling onions - 24 item
How to make creamed onions:
In large saucepan, boil onions in salt water. Drain and set aside. In same pan, melt butter. Blend in flour and salt until smooth. Add milk all at once. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Stir in cloves, parsley and onions. Stir until gently heated.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Onions.
