  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • dried onion flakes - 1 Tbsp
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • dried basil - 1/2 tsp
  • dried thyme - 1/2 tsp
  • chicken bouillon - 2 Tbsp
  • nonfat dried milk powder or creamer for coffee - 1 c

How to make cream soup base:

This is dry mix that can be stored and kept on hand until needed. When ready for soup, add 2 cups of cold water and cook over medium heat, stirring until thickened. Add more water, if needed.

For cream of mushroom, add some sliced mushrooms a few minutes before taking from stove.
