Cream of tomato soup
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- whipping cream - 1 c
- allspice - 1/4 tsp
- can chicken broth - 1 oz
- bay leaf - 1 item
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
- onion - 1/2 c
- dill - 1/2 tsp
- tarragon - 1/2 tsp
- shallots - 1/4 c
- can Italian plum tomatoes - 1 oz
How to make cream of tomato soup:
Saute shallots and onion. Add tarragon, allspice, dill, bay leaf, garlic, tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and puree vegetables.
