Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • whipping cream - 1 c
  • allspice - 1/4 tsp
  • can chicken broth - 1 oz
  • bay leaf - 1 item
  • salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
  • minced garlic - 1/2 tsp
  • onion - 1/2 c
  • dill - 1/2 tsp
  • tarragon - 1/2 tsp
  • shallots - 1/4 c
  • can Italian plum tomatoes - 1 oz

How to make cream of tomato soup:

Saute shallots and onion. Add tarragon, allspice, dill, bay leaf, garlic, tomatoes and chicken broth. Bring to a boil and simmer for 30 minutes. Strain and puree vegetables. Return mixture to pot and add whipping cream, sugar, salt and pepper. Bring t
