Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 Tbsp
- pkg
- salt - 1/4 Tbsp
- egg - 1 item
- all-purpose flour - 2 c
- margarine - 3/4 c
- warm water - 1/4 c
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- dry yeast Rapid Rise - 1 pkg
How to make cream cheese danish:
Filling:2 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese1 c. sugar1 Tbsp. lemon juice Mix first 2 ingredients and let stand. Add egg to yeast mixture. Add flour mixture to make a soft dough. Divide in half. Roll both out and spread with 1/2 of cream cheese mixture on each. Fold long ends toward middle and fold ends over. Place on baking sheet and bake at 375° for 20 minutes. When cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar.Filling: Mix in mixer at medium speed.
