Cream cheese danish
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 1 tsp
- egg, separated - 1 item
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- slivered almonds - 1/2 c
- cream cheese, softened - 16 oz
- cans crescent rolls - 2 oz
How to make cream cheese danish:
Cream sugar and cream cheese until smooth. Add egg yolk, vanilla and lemon juice, mixing until creamy. In a 9 x 13-inch pan unroll 1 package of crescent rolls to cover pan; seal perforations. Spread cream cheese mixture over dough. Unroll other package of rolls and seal over top of cream cheese mixture. Mix egg whites with water and brush over pastry.
