Cream cheese cookies
Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1/3 c
- brown sugar - 1/3 c
- flour - 1 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- sugar - 1/4 c
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
How to make cream cheese cookies:
Mix together the first 4 ingredients. Take out about 1 cup of mixture. Spread remaining ingredients in an 8 x 12 x 2-inch pan to make a crumb crust. Bake at 350° for 12 to 15 minutes.Beat the egg. Add sugar, cream cheese, milk, vanilla and lemon juice. Mix together and spread on crust. Sprinkle 1 cup of crumbs on top. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into squares for serving.
