Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1/4 c
- melted butter - 1/4 c
- unsifted flour - 1 c
- chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
- fresh cranberries - 2 c
How to make cranberry pie-cake:
Grease a 10-inch pie plate. Sprinkle cranberries, 1/2 cup of the sugar and the walnuts over the pie plate in that order. Beat eggs thoroughly. Add remaining 1 cup sugar, butter, sour cream and flour; beat only until dry ingredients are moistened. Pour over cranberry mixture in plate. Do not stir. Bake in a 325° oven until brown on top, about 1 hour. Makes about 8 servings. Quite good served warm.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Breakfast.
