Cranberry coffee cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 c
- almond extract - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- powdered sugar - 3/4 c
- margarine - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1 Tbsp
- can whole cranberry sauce - 1 oz
How to make cranberry coffee cake:
Place half of batter in pan. On top drop 1/2 can of whole cranberry sauce. Cover with rest of batter. Drop rest of sauce on top and sprinkle with chopped nuts. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes.Glaze while warm with mixture of warm water, powdered sugar and almond extract.
