Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 2 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- stick margarine - 1 item
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- nuts - 1/2 c
- warm water - 1 tsp
- can whole cranberry sauce
- pint sour cream - 1/2 item
- almond or vanilla extract - 1/2 tsp
- Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time
How to make cranberry coffee cake:
Cream sugar and margarine together. Add unbeaten eggs, one at a time. Mix other ingredients alternately with sour cream. Grease 8 or 9-inch tube pan. Layer batter and cranberry sauce. Swirl cranberry sauce with a spoon. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan.Glaze:3/4 c. confectioners sugar1 tsp. warm water1/2 tsp. almond or vanilla extract Mix ingredients together and pour over cake with a spoon.Recipe categories: Breads, Breakfast, Coffee cakes.
