Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- salt - 1 Tbsp
- flour - 6 6
- margarine - 1 item
- warm water - 2 c
- salad oil - 1/4 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkg
How to make country crust bread:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar, salt, eggs, oil and 3 cups flour. Beat until smooth. Mix in more flour to make dough easy to handle. Turn onto lightly floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, 8 to 10 minutes. Place in greased bowl; turn greased side up. Cover with damp towel; let rise until double, about 1 hour. Punch down dough. Form into 2 loaves or 2 dozen rolls. Put in greased pans. Brush with salad oil. Let rise until double, about 1 hour. Heat oven to 375°. Bake loaves for 30 to 35 minutes.
