Country crust bread
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- eggs - 2 item
- oil - 1/4 c
- warm water - 2 c
- dry yeast - 2 pkgs
- self rising flour to make a soft dough - 1 item
How to make country crust bread:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Stir in sugar, eggs, oil and enough flour to beat smooth. Mix in additional flour to make a soft dough. Knead on floured surface and place in greased bowl and let rise in warm place until double in size. Punch down. Divide in half and knead. Place in bread pans. Cover and let rise to top. Heat oven to 350° and bake 35-40 minutes or until brown. Brush with butter.Recipe categories: Breads, Low fat, Yeast breads.
