- margarine, melted - 1/4 c
- 8 or 9-inch pan cornbread, crumbled - 1 item
- bread cubes - 6 c
- pkg - 1 lb
- sage - 1 tsp
- condensed chicken broth - 1 (10
- water - 3/4 c
- eggs - 2 item
- chopped onion - 1 c
How to make country cornbread stuffing:
In a small skillet, saute celery and onion until tender. Combine celery mixture, cornbread, bread cubes, sausage and sage. Mix well. Add broth, water and eggs. Toss until moist. Add more water if more moist dressing is desired. Makes enough stuffing for a 12 to 16 pound turkey.
