Corn pudding
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- milk
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 1/4 c
- butter - 1/4 c
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- fresh, frozen or canned corn - 3 c
How to make corn pudding:
Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour, salt and sugar. Cook until bubbly. Add milk and cook until thick. Stir in corn. Stir in eggs that have been beaten until frothy. Pour into well-buttered casserole and set in a pan of hot water. Bake at 350° about an hour.From "Cooking In a Circle" by Lillian Swartz Circle Cookbook, 1964.
