Corn patch casserole
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- fat - 2 Tbsp
- small green pepper - 1 item
- small onion - 1 item
- tomatoes - 1 c
- pinch of pepper - 1 item
- whole grain corn - 1 c
- grated cheese Old English or American - 1 c
How to make corn patch casserole:
Saute green pepper and onion in 2 tablespoons fat. Combine tomatoes and corn. Thicken with 2 tablespoons cornstarch and season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and a little pepper. Put in casserole and cover with 1 cup grated cheese. Cook in slow oven at 350° at 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Ground beef.
