Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- cooked creamed corn - 2 c
- flour
- salt - 1 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- melted shortening - 1 Tbsp
- eggs - 2 item
How to make corn fritters:
Add milk to corn. Mix in sifted flour with salt, pepper and baking powder. Stir in slightly beaten eggs. Drop by spoonfuls into hot fat in frying pan. Fry until golden brown. Serve with butter.Recipe categories: Side dish, Vegetables, Corn.
