Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 item
- oil - 3 Tbsp
- garlic powder - 1 tsp
- long grain rice - 1 c
- large onions, chopped - 2 item
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- celery ribs, chopped - 3 item
- medium chopped green pepper - 1/2 item
- can V-8 - 16 oz
How to make spanish rice:
Saute green pepper, onions, celery and rice in oil until vegetables are limp and rice is clear. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste. Add V-8 juice and water to make 2 1/2 cups. Simmer until rice is tender.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
