Corn fritters
Ingredients/Components
- milk - 1/2 c
- boiled corn, cut from cob * - 2 c
- plain flour - 2 c
- salt
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- eggs, well beaten - 2 item
- butter, melted - 1 Tbsp
How to make corn fritters:
Add milk to corn. Sift dry ingredients together. Add to corn mixture. Add eggs and butter. Mix well. Drop by spoonfuls into fat heated to 375°. When brown, drain on paper towels. Serve immediately. Yields 1 1/2 dozen.*Canned whole kernel corn may be substituted for fresh corn.
